Audit Semi-Senior

Due to continued growth, my client is looking to hire an Audit Semi-Senior to join their external audit team in North Co. Dublin. In this role as an Audit Semi-Senior, you will work closely with the Directors in the Assurance team on the planning, field work and completion of all aspects of the audit engagement. You will work with a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of sectors including construction, distribution, manufacturing and logistics.

Main responsibilities:

• Assist with planning of audit, including adherence to internal and client deadlines
• Prepare financial statements and high-quality work papers
• Provide on the job training to the junior audit team members, which includes planning and reviewing their work
• Complete the work assigned to you on the audit; bring assignments to completion
• Provides performance feedback to trainees at end of engagement
• This is a full time office based position but some time will be required on the client’s site

Qualifications & Skills:

• Part qualified ACCA, ACA, or CPA qualification with 1-2 years audit experience in an Irish or UK Practice environment.
• Be comfortable client facing
• Good knowledge of FRS 102 and IFRS
• Good computer skills in MS word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with CaseWare would be an advantage.
